Everything you need to know

The Stellar Orion pays tribute to one of the great iconic chandeliers of 1950s Italian design. Its spherical structure, from which 18, 30, or 50 starlike metal arms radiate, carries an equal number of E14 bulbs that shimmer like a suspended constellation. No diffuser, no lampshade: the raw light of each bulb is multiplied by the reflections of the chrome metal structure, creating spectacular lighting and an incomparable architectural presence. Available in 3 sizes (depending on the number of bulbs) and 3 finishes: Ebony Black, Mirror Silver, or Imperial Gold. Adjustable cable 110-200 cm. E14 compatible. Free shipping. Customer rating 4.9/5.

The art of the suspended constellation

The Stellar Orion is inspired by an iconic object of 1950s Italian design that revolutionized the traditional approach to the chandelier. While classic chandeliers seek to diffuse a single light through crystals or lampshades, this original design embraces raw multiplication: as many metal arms as visible bulbs, with no diffuser or concealment. The result is a stellar luminous sculpture where each bulb becomes an individual point of light, forming a domestic constellation. The black electrical cables that run along the arms are also visible—a radical aesthetic choice that transforms technical functionality into a graphic element. It is the formal honesty characteristic of great Italian design.

Which size to choose for your space?

The 18-bulb (69 × 51 cm) is the versatile format: it is suitable for a standard residential living room, a 6-8 seater dining room, a large office, or a master bedroom (15-25 m²). The 30-bulb (88 × 72 cm) is designed for large spaces: grand living room, hotel lobby, restaurant, reception hall (25-50 m²). The 50-bulb (100 × 88 cm) is a true architectural piece for an atrium, double-height loft, luxury hotel lobby, or exceptional property entrance (50 m² and more). Allow for a minimum ceiling height proportional to each size (2.80 m / 3.20 m / 3.60 m respectively).

Bulb advice. Prefer E14 LED bulbs in warm white (2700-3000K), 200-300 lumens intensity per bulb, candle or transparent tube shape. As the bulbs are visible and numerous, choose them for their aesthetics as much as their function: Edison LEDs with visible filaments offer a warm vintage effect, while classic candle LEDs preserve the traditional spirit of the chandelier. Multiplied by 18, 30, or 50, the total intensity becomes considerable (3600-15000 cumulative lumens) — a powerful main light source for large rooms.

Stellar Orion vs other sculptural suspensions? The Stellar Orion is our only monumental chandelier with a constellation of visible bulbs. Compared to other sculptural suspensions in our range (Arborescent, Brass Gold, Saturn, MELT chandeliers, etc.), it stands out for its multiplicity of starlike bulbs and its inspiration from 1950s Italian design. Choose the Stellar Orion for a spectacular architectural presence as a centerpiece, particularly suited to large rooms, lobbies, and atriums where its luminous constellation can fully flourish.

Installation and maintenance precautions. The Stellar Orion is an imposing chandelier that requires sturdy ceiling mounting — check that your ceiling can support the weight of the chandelier fully loaded with all its bulbs (especially for the 30 and 50-bulb models). Use a qualified electrician for the installation. The standard cable, adjustable from 110 to 200 cm, covers most configurations, but for exceptional ceiling heights, an extension may be necessary. Multiple bulbs: anticipate the initial purchase cost of the 18, 30, or 50 E14 LED bulbs (not included) as well as their long-term periodic replacement.

Exceptional architectural design gift. The Stellar Orion is a gift for someone ambitiously renovating a large space or inaugurating a major real estate project. The 18-bulb format in Ebony Black brings a strong and contemporary presence. The 30-bulb in Mirror Silver is a spectacular decorative investment for a large living room or lobby. The 50-bulb in Imperial Gold is an absolute heirloom piece for the opening of a hotel, high-end restaurant, or exceptional loft. It is the light fixture that definitively transforms the identity of a space.

Frequently asked questions

How many bulbs depending on the Stellar Orion size?
The Stellar Orion comes in 3 versions defined by their number of bulbs: 18 bulbs (format W 69 × H 51 cm) for standard residential rooms; 30 bulbs (W 88 × H 72 cm) for large spaces; 50 bulbs (W 100 × H 88 cm) for monumental architectural statement pieces. The higher the number of bulbs, the more spectacular the luminous constellation and the more powerful the overall light intensity.
Which finish to choose?
Ebony Black: strong graphic presence, maximum contrast with luminous bulbs, ideal for contemporary, masculine, or chic industrial interiors. Mirror Silver: brilliant polished chrome, futuristic and high-tech allure, multiplies the reflections of the bulbs for a kaleidoscopic effect, ideal for contemporary or Art Deco interiors. Imperial Gold: warm heritage luster, absolute sophistication, dialogues with Art Deco, warm mid-century, or contemporary interiors with warm tones.
Why E14 bulbs and not E27?
The E14 is the socket for traditional candle-type bulbs — it is the historical format of large classic chandeliers. There are several reasons for this choice: aesthetics (E14 bulbs are smaller and more discreet to multiply without visual overload), functional (each bulb is less powerful but the cumulative effect of 18, 30, or 50 bulbs creates generous lighting), historical (faithful to the 1950s Italian design inspiration where the E14 was the standard for chandeliers). You will easily find high-performance modern E14 LEDs.
Which E14 LED bulb should I choose?
Prefer E14 LEDs in warm white (2700-3000 Kelvin), intensity 200-300 lumens per bulb, candle or transparent Edison tube shape. As the bulbs are numerous and visible, their aesthetics matter as much as their function. Classic candle LED: preserves the traditional spirit of the chandelier. Edison filament LED: warm vintage effect. Transparent tube LED: sleek modernity. Calculate total intensity: 18 × 250 lumens = 4500 lumens, 50 × 250 = 12500 lumens — very powerful lighting for large spaces.
What is the minimum ceiling height?
The minimum ceiling height depends on the size chosen. 18 bulbs (51 cm chandelier height + 110-200 cm cable): minimum 2.40 m. 30 bulbs (72 cm height + cable): minimum 2.80 m. 50 bulbs (88 cm height + cable): minimum 3.20 m. For a comfortable 2.10 m clearance under the bottom of the chandelier, adjust accordingly. The 30 and 50-bulb models are designed for architectural spaces with generous ceiling heights.
Is the installation complex?
The Stellar Orion is an imposing chandelier that requires sturdy ceiling mounting. For the 30 and 50-bulb models in particular, the weight of the chandelier loaded with bulbs can be significant. We strongly recommend using a qualified electrician for the installation: verification of ceiling support strength, wiring compliance, and precise height adjustment. The adjustable black cable is set during installation between 110 and 200 cm without any additional tools.
How to maintain a 50-bulb chandelier?
Maintaining a large chandelier requires regularity but remains accessible. Regular dusting: use a telescopic feather duster or a dry soft microfiber cloth to reach all arms and bulbs without disassembly. Occasional deep cleaning: remove the bulbs one by one (after turning off and cooling down), clean each socket with a dry cloth, and dust the metal arms. For Imperial Gold and Mirror Silver finishes, avoid abrasive cloths and solvents that could tarnish the plating.
