INFUSIO ALCHIMÍA 3-Tube Cigar Infuser — Borosilicate Glass, Interchangeable Vials

Aromas are chosen according to your cigar and preferences. Peated whisky pairs well with full-bodied cigars (Partagas, Bolivar). Cognac pairs with round and creamy cigars (Cohiba Siglo). Coffee enhances roasted notes. Lavender brings an unexpected floral dimension. Start with aromas that are closest to your cigar's profile.

Standard infusion lasts 24 to 72 hours, depending on the desired intensity. For a light nuance: 24h. For a strong aroma: 48-72h. Beyond that, the cigar may become saturated. Start short and adjust to your taste.

Infusion works best with medium to large ring gauge cigars (52-64 ring gauge). Very thin cigars (Lancero, Panatela) absorb less aroma. Robusto, Toro, and Churchill are the most recommended formats for infusion.

The interchangeable vials are the Infusio Alchimía's major asset: they allow you to change aromas without changing the support. Prepare one vial per aroma, for example whisky, cognac, and coffee, then replace it on the acrylic base whenever you wish. With its 3 tubes, the Alchimía is ideal for comparisons: infuse three identical cigars with different aromas and discover which suits you best. Remember to label your vials and note the infusion time: you can easily reproduce your favorite pairings.

After each infusion, empty the vials and rinse the borosilicate glass tubes with warm water. For persistent aromas, a drop of neutral dish soap is sufficient, followed by a thorough rinse. Borosilicate glass is an inert material that does not retain odors: once well-rinsed, it is ready for a new aroma. Let dry completely in the open air before any reuse. For the acrylic base, use a soft, slightly damp cloth, without alcohol or abrasive products, which could scratch or dull it and cause it to lose its high transparency.

This is not recommended. An infused cigar will retain the notes of whisky, cognac, or coffee that it has absorbed and will continue to diffuse them. Placed in your humidor, it would transmit these aromas to the cedar and neighboring cigars, which would lose their original character. It is better to enjoy your infused cigars in the days that follow, or keep them separately in a dedicated case or tube.
