The oiled nubuck leather that makes up the Livingstone is obtained by finely sanding the leather grain, creating that characteristic velvety feel similar to suede—but much more resistant. The treatment with natural oil provides remarkable water-repellent protection: drops of coffee, water, or tea bead on the surface without penetrating the material, preserving the suppleness and appearance of the mat over time.
It is living leather that develops a patina through contact with the items placed on it, the hands that touch it, and the light that caresses it. What you can engrave: short text (up to 30 characters), initials, date in DD.MM.YYYY format. The engraving is positioned by default in a discrete corner, but other locations are possible upon request.

Precautions for use and leather care: although the oiled nubuck leather is waterproof, immediately wipe up any significant spills (coffee, water, juice) with a dry cloth to prevent prolonged absorption. For routine maintenance, dust with a soft brush or a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals (household alcohol, solvents, disinfectant wipes) as they alter the leather's natural oil and may discolor the material. To revive the look after several months of use, periodically apply a colorless wax for nubuck leather in a very thin layer. Do not place the charging zone near credit cards, magnetic badges, or external hard drives—electromagnetic waves may damage them. 15W fast charging requires a compatible QC adapter (not provided). Do not fold the integrated wireless charger zone for extended periods. When unrolling for the first time, leave flat for 24 to 48 hours before use to allow the leather to take its final shape.
