Why is the watch named La Rivet?

The name comes from the visible screws placed at the four corners of the square case's bezel. They evoke the rivets found on mechanical parts, vintage car bodies, or instrument panels. This detail gives the watch its industrial identity and immediately distinguishes it from more classic round models. Combined with large numerals, the notched crown, and two pushers, it creates the look of a measuring instrument that is both robust and refined, noticed from the very first glance at the wrist.

What is the difference between the three finishes?

The three versions share the same square case, the same 45 mm dial, and the same 24 cm strap. The Black finish is entirely dark, with a black strap featuring white stitching. The Gold finish combines the black case middle with rose gold reflections on the case, with a black strap. The Brown finish combines a silver and black case, light counters, and a brown leather strap. Choose according to your wardrobe colors and the style you want to give your outfit.

What is the size of the watch?

La Rivet has a 45 mm dial. Coupled with the square shape of the case, this format gives it a strong presence on the wrist, ideal for those who love bold watches. The strap is 24 cm long by 2 cm wide and adjusts via a pin buckle. It is adjustable and fits all wrists, from the slimmest to the widest. If in doubt, measure your wrist circumference with a soft tape measure before ordering to visualize the fit.

Is the strap made of leather?

Yes, La Rivet is mounted on a thick leather strap, marked with contrasting white topstitching. Depending on the finish chosen, it is black or brown. The leather softens over time and gradually molds to the shape of the wrist, for comfort that improves with age. To preserve it, avoid getting it wet, exposing it to direct sun for long periods, or contact with perfume. A soft, dry cloth is sufficient for maintenance after each wear. Store the watch flat to avoid marking the leather.

How do I set the time and date?

Setting is performed using the notched crown located on the right side of the case, between the two pushers. Pull it gently to the desired position, then turn it to adjust the date or time. Then push the crown back to its original position to lock the setting. Proceed without forcing and avoid manipulating the crown when the watch is wet. If you have any doubts about the notches or how to use the pushers, do not hesitate to contact our team, who will guide you step by step.

Can I wear La Rivet in the shower or while exercising?

No, we advise against it. Do not wear your watch while exercising or in the shower: water, steam, soap, and perspiration can damage it and ruin the leather strap. Remove it before these activities and store it in a dry place. If it gets wet by accident, carefully wipe the case and let the leather dry in the open air, away from a direct heat source. These simple steps will preserve the appearance and comfort of your watch daily.

What outfits go well with La Rivet?

La Rivet has an urban and vintage character that goes very well with raw denim, a leather jacket, a canvas jacket, or a thick sweater. It can also be worn with a suit jacket for those who like to break the rules with a watch full of character. The Brown finish calls for brown leather accessories; the Black version, for a dark and sober outfit; and the Gold version warms up a white or sky-blue shirt. A versatile watch for both work and the weekend.
