It is the most sought-after quality in leather goods: it retains the leather's natural grain, breathes, and develops a warm patina over time. Here, the cowhide has been grained and buffed to achieve a fine, even grain that is pleasant to the touch and less prone to minor scratches than smooth leather.

Tip: for a perfectly framed photo, have your images printed in square format leaving a small margin, then trim them with scissors. Place the frame out of direct sunlight to preserve the colors of the prints as well as the hue of the leather. For maintenance, a soft, dry cloth is enough; once or twice a year, a thin layer of colorless balm nourishes the full-grain leather.

Each window of the Voyageur SOUVENIR measures 80 × 78 mm. Therefore, plan for photos in square format measuring approximately 8 × 8 cm. Square instant prints are naturally suitable, after a slight margin adjustment if necessary. A standard 10 × 15 cm print will need to be cropped: have it printed in square format, or carefully cut it with scissors, centering the subject. Photos are not provided with the frame. Tip: print your images with a small white margin, then trim them to the exact size of the window for a clean and well-centered result.
Does the frame stand on its own?
Yes. The Voyageur SOUVENIR unfolds like a book and stands open in a V-shape on a flat surface: desk, bedside table, shelf, or sideboard. Simply adjust the opening angle so that it balances, the two panels supporting each other. The narrower the angle, the more stable the frame. It is not designed to be hung on the wall. When traveling, it finds its place on a hotel bedside table or temporary desk in a few seconds, then closes to return to the suitcase.
Is the laser engraving really free?
Yes. Like all pieces in the Voyageur Collection, the Voyageur SOUVENIR includes a first free laser engraving, applied to the cover of the frame. You can have initials, two names, a wedding or birth date, or a short motto engraved. The laser marks the leather with precision, and the engraving then develops a patina with the material. How do I add a logo or additional engraving?
The first engraving is free. The option is automatically added to the cart, at a rate of one per ordered item.
