Magyars Crystal — a tribute to the horsemen of the steppes

The name pays tribute to the Magyars, the horse-riding peoples of Eastern Europe. The dragon head engraved on the cigar needle embodies their power and mysticism — a detail that transforms a functional tool into a collector's piece. For aficionados who want every accessory to tell a story.

What the Magyars Crystal humidor contains

✦
4 plexiglass tubesTransparent — check the condition of your cigars without opening. Integrated humidifier cap per tube. Compatible with up to 60 ring gauge.
◆
Double-blade cigar cutterClean straight cut — the double blade reduces wrapper fraying and ensures a clean cut in a single motion.
➤
Dragon needleImproves draw via perforation — engraved dragon head, a functional and unique collectible.

The plexiglass tubes — the unique humidification system

Each transparent plexiglass tube is independent — insert a cigar, add a few drops of distilled water to the humidifier cap using the included pipette, and close. The cigar is protected individually, with its own humidified atmosphere, regardless of the duration of the trip. You can remove one tube without disturbing the others.

Distilled water only: refill the humidifier cap of each tube with distilled water via the included pipette — never use tap water. Limescale clogs humidification systems and can leave residues on tobacco leaves.

PU leather — advantages over genuine leather: the premium PU leather of the Magyars Crystal is more resistant to moisture and scratches than natural leather — ideal for frequent travel. It maintains a beautiful texture and a refined look without requiring balm or special maintenance.

Frequently asked questions

How does the tube humidification system work?
Each plexiglass tube is equipped with a cap with an integrated humidifier. Pour a few drops of distilled water into the cap using the provided pipette, insert your cigar into the tube, and close it. The cigar is kept in its own humidified atmosphere, independent of the other tubes. Distilled water only — never tap water.
What is the cigar needle adorned with a dragon head used for?
The cigar needle is a perforation tool — it creates a draw channel by piercing the head of the cigar, thus improving the draw without damaging the filler. It is an alternative to a cigar cutter, particularly appreciated for round-head cigars (Torpedo, Piramides). The engraved dragon head also makes it a unique and collectible object.
Can cigars be carried without the tubes?
Yes — the humidor can accommodate up to 4 cigars inserted in their tubes or directly in the interior compartment. A perforated plate ensures optimal ventilation, and an elastic strap keeps the cigars in place. For optimal preservation while traveling, tubes with humidifiers remain the recommended solution.
Is PU leather durable and resistant?
Yes — the premium PU leather of the Magyars Crystal is more resistant to moisture, scratches, and friction than genuine leather, making it the best choice for frequent travel. It does not require balm or special maintenance — a simple damp cloth is sufficient. Its refined appearance and soft texture remain intact over time.
Is the Magyars Crystal a good gift for a cigar aficionado?
It is one of the most complete and distinctive sets — 4 individual humidifier tubes, a double-blade cutter, and an engraved dragon needle in a chestnut PU leather case. An item that the aficionado has certainly never seen elsewhere, immediately recognizable and usable. Ideal for a special occasion.
