Prepare the VERTIGO before first use

Humidify the interior — dab the cedar walls with a slightly damp cloth (distilled water only). Do not wet — dab.

Attach the humidifier magnetically — fill it with distilled water and place it on the magnetic plate of the lid. Attach the digital hygrometer next to it. Close the humidor.

Wait 24 to 48 hours — read the digital hygrometer. Target: 65 to 70% stable. If insufficient, repeat the operation.

Place your cigars — with or without a divider depending on your collection. The VERTIGO is ready.
Maximum length: cigars must be 150 mm maximum with the divider in place. Standard Churchills (178 mm) exceed this limit. Without a divider, the maximum length is greater — check according to the chosen layout.

The digital hygrometer displays a precise numerical value of ±1-2% — you read 68% directly. A needle (analog) hygrometer has an accuracy of ±5% and requires interpreting the position of a needle. For precious cigars, digital precision makes a real difference in maintaining optimal humidity between 65 and 75%.
How many cigars can the VERTIGO really hold?
With the divider: 12 cigars in individual slots, max 60 ring gauge and max 150 mm long. Without the divider: up to 25 cigars depending on formats — thinner formats (Corona, Panatela) allow for more storage. Gordos (60 ring gauge) and long formats take up more space.
Does the VERTIGO humidor accept Churchills (178 mm)?

Is the VERTIGO's magnetic system similar to the Wood Magnet?
Yes — the same principle of free magnetic attachment on the lid. The main difference is the hygrometer: digital on the VERTIGO (±1-2%), needle on the Wood Magnet (±5%). The VERTIGO also accepts 60 ring gauge cigars compared to more limited formats on the Wood Magnet. For hygrometric precision, the VERTIGO is superior.
Are the lighter and cigar cutter included in the Solo version?
No — the Solo version only includes the humidor with digital hygrometer, humidifier, and divider. The lighter and cigar cutter are only included in the 5 set versions (Houdini, Vargas, Heritage, Ignition Pro, Carbon Nyfe). Each accessory is also available individually in the store.
