Eclipse Elegance — the ashtray sculpture

The Eclipse Elegance rejects angles and edges to fully embrace a sculptural organic shape — fluid curves, lustrous surfaces that reflect light, and a continuous transition between the outer rim and the central bowl. 180 × 168 × 63 mm of mirror-black lacquered ceramic, with 3 brilliant gold notches for cigars up to a 56 ring gauge. A piece for enthusiasts who choose their items as much for the tasting experience as for the beauty of the smoking table.

For what kind of interior? The black lacquered finish and gold accents of the Eclipse Elegance fit naturally into contemporary black & gold interiors, minimalist designer offices, or sophisticated lounge spaces. Its organic shape brings visual softness to decors with sharp angles (industrial furniture, highly geometric pieces).

Eclipse Elegance — the organic design option in the range: other ashtrays in the range prioritize geometric shapes (square, round, triangular, hexagonal). The Eclipse Elegance is the only ashtray with sculptural fluid lines — a signature that stands out immediately among traditional ashtrays. For those who want an ashtray that breaks with usual codes.

Frequently asked questions

How many cigars can it hold?
The Eclipse Elegance features 3 gold notches distributed around the central bowl, allowing three cigars to rest simultaneously. The notches accommodate cigars up to a 56 ring gauge (Toro/Gordo, ≈22 mm), covering the majority of classic formats without marking the wrapper.
Is the ceramic resistant to cigar heat?
Yes — the vitrified lacquered ceramic resists the combustion temperatures of a cigar (up to 800 °C at the glowing end). The high-temperature fired structure ensures thermal stability without risk of cracking or damaging the mirror-black finish and gold accents.
Is the ashtray stable?
Yes — its solid ceramic construction and balanced weight provide excellent stability on all surfaces (wood, marble, glass, smoking table). Its flat base prevents any tipping, even when weighted by multiple cigars.
How do I clean the Eclipse Elegance?
Let it cool down, empty the ashes and stubs, then wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasives that could dull the shiny lacquered finish and gold notches. Do not use a dishwasher to preserve the luster of the gilding and the depth of the lacquer over the long term.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes — it can accompany a tasting on a terrace, balcony, or in a garden. However, it is recommended to bring it inside after use to protect the brilliance of the mirror-black finish from the elements (rain, frost, prolonged sunlight).
What is the difference with other ashtrays in the range?
The Eclipse Elegance is the only ashtray with organic fluid lines in the range. Other ashtrays favor geometric shapes (square, round, triangular, hexagonal, quadrilobed). For those seeking a design signature that breaks with traditional codes, the Eclipse Elegance is the obvious choice.
