Which size should I choose for my MacBook?

First, choose the model (MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Pro Retina), then the diagonal size of the screen. This information can be found in the "About This Mac" menu of your computer. The MacBook Air is offered in 11 and 13 inches, and the MacBook Pro and Pro Retina in 13 and 15 inches. These sizes correspond to older computer ranges; for a recent model, whose dimensions may have changed, measure the length, width, and thickness of your device and contact us before ordering: we will verify compatibility with you.

Is the charger included?

No, the computer charger is not provided. However, the sleeve comes with a matching leather storage pouch, specifically designed to hold the power block and its cable. It closes with a leather button, on the same principle as the main sleeve. This prevents the charger from scratching the computer or getting tangled at the bottom of the bag. Both pieces share the same shade and leather, for a harmonious set that you can take anywhere.

What kind of leather is the sleeve made of?

The TOCKY sleeve is made of cowhide leather with an oiled finish. This robust leather features natural tonal variations, changing highlights, and slight marks that testify to its authenticity. Inside, you find the reverse side of the leather, with a velvety feel, which protects the computer casing from friction. Over time, the material develops a patina: it darkens slightly in the most handled areas and gains flexibility. It is this aging that gives each sleeve its unique character.

How does the closure work?

The sleeve adopts an envelope closure. The large pointed flap folds over the front, and a thin leather cord wraps around a round leather button. This simple system keeps the flap closed during transport without magnets or zippers that could scratch the computer. Simply unwrap the cord to open. This slightly retro gesture adds to the charm of the object and recalls the document holders and correspondence envelopes of the past. The charger pouch works on the same principle.

Does the sleeve protect against shocks?

TOCKY protects primarily against scratches, dust, and daily friction, for example, when placed in a bag with other objects. The cowhide leather offers good resistance, and the velvety interior prevents marks on the casing. However, the sleeve does not include specific padding: it is not designed to absorb a drop. For more exposed transport, slide it into a bag or briefcase, where it will play its role as close-fitting protection.

How do I care for the leather?

Dust the sleeve regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, apply a colorless balm or cream for smooth leather in a thin layer, then polish: the leather will regain its suppleness and highlights. Avoid water, household cleaning products, and prolonged exposure to the sun, which dry out and discolor the material. In case of rain, wipe gently and let dry at room temperature, never near a radiator. Small signs of use are part of the patina and often fade over time.

Which shade should I choose?

Brown is a luminous honey brown with golden highlights that enhances the natural nuances of the leather and goes well with light tones and natural wood. Dark brown is a deep, more classic chocolate brown that evokes library leathers and pairs with dark outfits and traditional office accessories. Both shades age beautifully and develop a patina with use. The provided charger pouch is always matched to the chosen color for a cohesive set.

TOCKY is a cowhide leather sleeve with an envelope design, conceived to carry and protect a MacBook with the charm of an old-fashioned document holder. Its large triangular flap closes with a round leather button around which a thin cord is wrapped, an artisanal fastener that is a pleasure to use. The leather, with its oiled and nuanced appearance, develops a patina over time and takes on the reflections of the years. Inside, a velvet-touch surface holds the computer, secured by an elastic strap. The sleeve comes with a matching storage pouch for the charger, fastened with the same button. It is available for 11 and 13-inch MacBook Air, and 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Pro Retina, in two shades: a luminous honey brown and a deep dark brown. Everything you need to slip your computer into a travel bag or carry it under your arm to a meeting, with true leather-goods elegance.
