Once the notebook is full, you archive the sheets and start again: the cover, however, remains — and gets more beautiful. Around the binder, the essentials discreetly: two card slots, a zippered pocket for tickets and papers, an elastic pen holder, and an elastic closure strap that keeps everything closed in your bag. Crazy horse leather is full-grain leather treated with hot wax and oil — a process that gives it its oily, matte, and deliberately lived-in appearance. Its signature: the pull-up effect, those lighter shades that appear by contrast under friction, impossible to reproduce in faux leather. The stitching with 9-strand thread reinforces the structure where a notebook lives the most: the edge and the corners.
A notebook is the object you open every day for years. Crazy horse is made for this destiny: the cover darkens in the areas of grip, the strap gently marks its passage, the patina settles page after page. Which refills to use? A set of lined A5 sheets is included, already installed — you write from receipt. For the future, the binder welcomes all standard 6-hole punched A5 sheets: lined, blank, grid, dot, dividers, or dated agendas, available in all stationery stores and online. Check the "A5 — 6 rings" mention before buying your refills.
Crazy horse leather care: wipe regularly with a soft and dry cloth — the small scratches camouflage with a simple pass of the thumb thanks to the pull-up effect. Once or twice a year, apply an untinted leather milk or cream to nourish the fiber and revive the patina. Avoid prolonged water, direct sun, and intense heat sources.
